MARQUETTE — As a part of town of Marquette’s effort to cut back sanitary sewer infiltration, Coleman Engineering Firm personnel will likely be conducting fog testing of metropolis sewers. This work is being accomplished to find any current deficiencies within the sewer mains, lateral and constructing plumbing associated to sewer traces.
The fog testing will start within the Shiras Hills space beginning subsequent week. The challenge crew will likely be inserting door hangers with extra info at residences within the neighborhoods they’re working in.
The kind of fog used is innocent, white to yellowing-white in shade and will have a slight odor. It’s innocent to crops, animals and people. We ask that you make sure that all sinks, tubs, showers, bathrooms, flooring drains and sewer traps have been checked and stuffed with water. This may alleviate fog and/or sewer gases getting into your own home at these places. If fog will get into your own home, officers ask you to ventilate your own home.
