BEIJING, June 20 (Reuters) – China reported 23 new confirmed COVID-19 instances within the mainland for June 19, down from 30 infections a day earlier, the nation’s well being authority stated on Sunday.
All new instances have been imported infections from abroad, with 12 reported within the southern province Guangdong, the Nationwide Well being Fee stated.
The variety of new asymptomatic infections fell to twenty from 42 a day earlier. China doesn’t classify them as confirmed instances.
The whole variety of confirmed COVID-19 instances in mainland China reached 91,587 by the tip of June 19, with the loss of life toll unchanged at 4,636.
